Blender of all Blenders

I know, I know....no one give a rip about me and my blender. But I AM SO EXCITED. When did I get old enough to be excited about a blender?? But, I really am. Ever since my "health" kick, I've been interested in these to make "green" spinach smoothies. I have tried them in other blenders and trust me -- disgusting. The spinach was gritty and I couldn't even drink it. Anyway, I've been coveting this for months now, but who is going to spend $435 on a blender? Not me.
Well, Jeff was able to get us a deal thanks to a very good friend of ours. It's still a lot of money for a blender, but I can justify $275 for my Christmas AND Birthday present, right? Plus think of all the health benefits for my family?? We already made our first spinach and banana smoothie last night -- Amazing. So excited.
Sorry about no other updates. This seems to be turning into "The Amanda Blog" instead of family/kid blog. I broke yet another camera a few months ago and then put the memory card "somewhere safe" and now can't remember where on earth it is. Soooo, I have virtually no pictures of the kids from the past little while. I'm working on it, promise. I should have asked for another camera for Christmas, but I'd probably just break it. ;)

I think you should just take photos of the blender instead of the kids for the next few months. ;)
I'm a little jealous. I really wanted one of those when Nate and I got married. I'll have to survive with my trusty magic bullet. :)
Okay, first of all you are a total babe in your Christmas card. Wow. And now for the blender: Wahoo!! Brian got me one for Christmas last year, and it was the BEST GIFT ever. (I think he figured he'd better do a really good one if he wanted to talk me into letting him go back to school. Usually he forgets to buy me anything.) I use the BlendTec almost every morning for smoothies, and several nights a week for soups, etc. It is awesome. The cookbook that comes with it is full of gems. I'm so happy for you! :) (I feel like this level of congratulations should be reserved for marriages, babies, etc, but I can't hold back.)
Congratulations on the new blender! We owe you guys a kid watching, too...I haven't forgotten.
Oh, I am totally excited about that new blender of yours...I have been pining for one for at least a couple of years now...someday. For now you should enjoy it and post photos of the goodies you make with it. xo!
