Matt and Shanna

We recently got back from Hermitage, PA where Matt and Shanna got married. It was a great trip for us...too short of course, but really great nonetheless. It was great to see a bunch of our extended family that I hadn't seen in years as well as to share in the joy of Matt's Wedding! Shanna is a sweetheart and will be a wonderful sister-in-law.
Mom and Chance in the hotel. Chance did great on the plane ride...despite my concerns. He did well with sleeping in the hotel room once we finally were done in the evenings. The problem was a lot of late nights though. He didn't go to bed before 11 or 12 any night we were there. And we had to rig the room all ghetto style with a sheet draped over an upright lamp to keep him "blocked off" from the rest of the room. Overall though, he was a good traveler.

Chance might be a good traveler, but he was NOT a good ring bearer -- he walked 1/3 of the way and then got distracted and wouldn't walk. So...mom had to assist him down the aisle. He was so cute in his little suit though...Thanks Jess!

Awe, he looks so cute in the suit! I am glad you remember you had it. Sometimes when I have clothes that are sooo much bigger when we get them I forget we have them. I love suits on the little ones! I'm glad you had a good time and that Chance was a good sport through it all!
Chancey melts me. He looks adorable. Wedding looked like a fun time.
I could just eat Chance up. Man he is so cute.
I had to laugh because I read this post while we were on vacation in Florida, and I was totally doing all these crazy things (i.e. moving hotel furniture around) to try to make a special "place" for Jonathan. We ended up putting his pack 'n play in the bathroom so he could sleep in the dark and be apart from us. Then we had to put on sweats and go to the hotel lobby to pee in the middle of the night!! The things we do. :)
